FALL FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE (FTX) 2017 OCTOBER 6TH TO 8TH!

 PREPARE YOURSELF FOR THE FIRST FTX OF THE YEAR!

 WHAT: Cadets will participate in an interactive and exciting Mandatory Bivouac FTX with the emphasis on developing practical skills such as field craft, shelter building, navigation and orienteering so cadets can have a chance to use their skills while on the FTX.

WHEN: From 6 Oct to to 8 Oct 2017

• DEPARTURE BY BUS FROM MEWATA ARMOURY on October 6th, 2017 NO LATER THAN 19:00 . Parents can leave cadets at Mewata with their equipment starting at 18:00.
• ARRIVAL BY BUS AT MEWATA ARMOURY on October 8th, 2017 NO LATER THEN 16:00 ready for parental pick up.

WHERE IS THE ACTIVITY:  Bow Valley Provincial Park (Owl Group Campground)

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

• Eat dinner prior to arrive at Mewata on Friday.
• Remember to bring your medication (with written details) if you need any.
• BE READY FOR ANY WEATHER CONDITION! Bring clothing for 4 seasons... We are in Alberta after all.
