CADETS SIGNED UP FOR HIGHLAND CHALLENGE - WEATHER WARNING - ENSURE YOU HAVE RAIN JACKET, WINTER JACKET, WARM BOOTS, AND EXTRA SOCKS!!!!

All cadets signed up for Highland Challenge this weekend, there is a snowfall/rain warning for the area we are having our FTX.  We are evaluating the conditions of the site and will make a decision by 1500hrs (3PM) if we will be cancelling the FTX.  Our concern at this time is ensuring that all the cadets have rain gear (at the very least a rain jacket), a winter jacket, proper hiking boots/combat boots, and LOTS of extra socks.  These items MUST BE packed with your kit.  DO THAT AS SOON AS YOU CAN if you haven't already done so.  Wet snow and rain are expected for the weekend.  If you have the proper gear and are dressed appropriately, you will stay warm and enjoy your time - despite the weather.  Although it is June, the weather can turn and you must be prepared to stay the vast majority of your time outdoors.
