Unfortunately there were a greater amount of applicants than spots available. Therefore, not everyone was able to be selected. If any cadets release their place on this list, we will notify the next cadet in line.
If you do not receive a place on this course, please sign-up again next year. We attempt to run this course yearly when possible.
If you are no longer able to attend, you MUST notified Lt(N) Ogilvie of this change asap. There is a wait list and quick notification allows another cadet to take your place.

Notes for participants:
Date(s): 08 & 09 February 2020
Time: 0750 – 1630 hrs both days (7:50 am – 4:30 pm) **please be punctual**
Location: Mewata Armoury – Garrison Dining Room (2nd floor, SE corner
Dress: comfortable civilian attire, suitable for working on the floor for practical exercises. (Bring clean, dry shoes to change into – don’t plan to spend the whole day in winter boots or wet/snow covered shoes)
Females with long hair – pull it into a pony tail or braids to keep it out of your face. Do not put it in a high pony tail or bun that makes it uncomfortable for you to lie flat on your back.
**Please note that you will be working in close proximity with a partner to learn splinting/bandaging techniques, be aware of personal hygiene
Bring:
· Pen/pencil
· Lunch/snacks/beverages/bottled water (there will be no time to leave the building to purchase lunch off-site)
· A cheery disposition and eagerness to learn
Note:
· It is imperative that all students arrive on time so that teaching can begin at 0800. Standard First Aid involves TWO very full days of instruction to complete. You must attend all lessons across both days to complete the course. Do not arrive late or expect to leave early.

· End time listed is approximate and could fluctuate between 4:30—5:30 pm each day. Parents – we will endeavor to give you an hour’s notice with revised finish times if we are going to finish early or late.
