Solo FTX (Selected Participants only) - March 7-8

Reminder that the Solo FTX is this weekend March 7-8 (note that it is a one night exercise only)

You MUST have been approved to participate in this exercise (see participant list below).

If you are on the list but have not had your survival kit reviewed yet, this MUST be done this Thursday, March 5th or you will not be permitted to attend the exercise.

Meet at Mewata Armouries @ 0800 (8am) on Saturday March 7.
Pick-up from Mewata @ 1300 (1pm) on Sunday March 8.

If circumstances have changed and you are no longer able to attend this FTX, please notify Lt(N) Ogilvie (Training Officer) ASAP 

CLOTHING LIST:

1.             Below is a list of items that members should be in possession of for the activity:

1st layer (next to skin): -2 pairs of underwear; -2 undershirts; - 1+ pair of thermal top and bottom (long underwear); -2 pairs of socks (cotton, polypropylene); -2 pairs of wool socks;	2nd layer: -2 pairs of outdoor pants (ie. combat pants, wool pants, sweat pants; NO JEANS); -2 outdoor shirts (ie. combat shirts, wool shirts, synthetic); -1 sweater (wool, fleece); -1 sweatshirt;
3rd layer (outer layer): -winter jacket (parka) & snow pants; -scarf; -toque and beret/Tam-O-Shanter; - pair of gloves; Footwear: -1 pair of combat boots (or hiking boots); -1 pair of winter boots (for wear on return to unit;)	Personal items: -Soap; -Facecloth; -Toothbrush & Toothpaste; -Towel; -Water bottle. - SURVIVAL KIT
