Are you new to the corps? Or just want more practice to refine those air rifle skills?
What: Cadets will participate in a Catch-Up Range Day in order to learn marksmanship skills, complete safe rifle handling test and fire the air rifle on a range
Who: It is a requirement to fire the air rifle at least once per year. New cadets that have not participated in the fall Range Day need to attend. This activity is optional for all other cadets but priority for firing the air rifle will go to new cadets.
Dress: FTU (Field Training Uniform) or appropriate civilian attire (for cadets that do not have a uniform)
Schedule:
Morning:New Cadets: Safety and skill building lessons
Returning Cadets: Firing the air rifle/skill development
Afternoon:
All: firing the air rifle (priority to new cadets)
Where: ASU Calgary - 4225 Crowchild Trail Southwest, Calgary, AB T3E 1T8
Meet at the the front doors of the "General Sir Arthur Currie" Building
When: Sunday, March 17, 2019: 0930 (9:30am) - 1530 (3:30pm)
Note: - Cadets are to find their own transportation to and from the facility.- Cadets are to bring their own lunch, food will not be provided.
- Please arrive with a water bottle.
