Below are the details for the exercise:
What: Bushcraft Day, in order to learn and practice outdoor skills such as constructing snares, hoochies, field amenities & more!
Who: All cadets from 2137 may attend, activity is optional but lots of fun!
Dress: FTU (Field Training Uniform)
When: March 30, 2019
Drop off: 0800 (8am)
Pick up: 1830 (6:30pm)
Where: Camp Chief Hector, *Meeting at Mewata
Notes:
Please eat breakfast prior to meeting at the armouries
Lunch will be provided
Below is a list of items to bring on this exercise:
a.
FTU (field Training Uniform) to include:
i. beret and toque;
ii. Pants/shirts;
iii. combat boots;
iv. wool socks;
v. wind/snow pants (as applicable);
vi. pair of thermal top and bottom/long underwear (as applicable);
vii. pair of gloves; and
viii. Parka.

vi. pair of gloves; and
vii. Hiking or winter boots (as applicable).

Cadets are discouraged from bringing electronic and other expensive
devices with them during this activity. Please note that 2137 RCACC is not
responsible for lost or stolen items.
