This Sunday is the Combined Calgary Highlanders Cadets Corps' ACR (Annual Ceremonial Review). The ACR is very much like a graduation ceremony/parade. This is the big parade that marks the end of another successful training year. You have all worked hard and this is your chance to show off to your family and friends what you have been working on and why you are part of this great organization. We will have LCol Palmer, Commanding Officer of our affiliated Regiment, the Calgary Highlanders, as the Reviewing Officer for this parade. I want to see maximum attendance from all the cadets! This your final big parade of the year. You wouldn't want to miss this! Parents, friends, and families, please come out to support your cadets on this parade. We will have over 130 cadets from all 4 Highlander Cadet Corps parading. With the Pipes and Drums leading the parade, this will be an awesome experience to see! See below for details:
Timings: 0700 - 1630hrs
Dress: Come in FTUs, bring your C1/H1/H3 on a hanger in a garment bag. Remember your tie, head dress, dress shirt, tunic, shoes, spats, lovat hose, half hose, flashes (and all the other pieces that go along!) Also bring polishing kit, lint brush, and needle and thread. Ensure your badges are all sewn on properly!

This will be a long day. Ensure you all stay well hydrated and that you eat the breakfast and lunch provided! You will be setting up the parade square in the morning and doing a few more dress rehearsals before lunch. The parade will start at 1400hrs and you will be dismissed AFTER everything has been put away and cleaned up. This will be around 1630hrs, possibly earlier.
Info for the parents: Our Annual Inspection will start at 1400hrs SHARP. Please be seated by 1340hrs. Dress for military is 1A (medals). Dress for civilians is business attire. Cadets will be dismissed by 1630hrs.
