GO CLIMB A MOUNTAIN!!! NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR MOUNT COLUMBIA NATIONAL EXPEDITION 20 AUG - 4 SEPT 2018

We are now accepting applications for this year's national expedition - taking on Mount Columbia, the 4th highest peak in North America.  See attached PowerPoint presentation for additional information on what to expect on the expedition.  Click HERE for the presentation.   

This is another once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do some serious mountaineering and challenging biking.  Here are the requirements:

1.  Be Gold Star qualified
2.  Be at least 16 years of age by 20 Aug 2018
3.  Successfully completed Silver Star Expedition
4.  Successfully completed Gold Star Expedition
5.  Successfully completed a Regional expedition, and/or the Expedition Instructor Course, and/or the Leadership and Challenge Course 
6.  Female Silver Fitness level for 16 year old will be the minimum standard applied to all (Male/females).  Priority will be given to cadets who have achieved a higher fitness level.
7.  Be medically fit IAW CATO 16-02 and have no participation limitations
8.  Have NOT participated in a national or international expedition within the last year

9.  Be recommended by their corps’ Commanding Officer (CO).
