NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR MANTARIO TREK REGIONAL EXPEDITION 29 SEPT - 7 OCT 2018!!

If you are interested in applying, please send an email to 2137rcacc@gmail.com with the Subject "Mantario Trek Expedition Application".  Deadline for applications are EOD Thursday, 6 September 2018. 

Cadets will participate in one (1) day of pre-expedition training and five (5) days of 

back country hiking. A training day will take place in Birds Hill Provincial Park, Manitoba 

and the back country portion of the expedition will take place in Whiteshell Provincial 

Park, Manitoba along the Mantario Trail.

Here are the requirements for selection:

(1) have successfully completed both Silver (PO326) and Gold Star 

(PO426) Expedition Training; 

(2) be gold star qualified; 

(3) be at least 15 years of age by 28 Sep 18; 

(4) have attained at minimum bronze incentive level of a 16 year old for 

their gender in the Cadet Fitness Assessment and Incentive 

Program (CFAIP) qualified not earlier than 28 Jun 18; 

(5) be medically fit IAW CATO 16-02 and have no participation 

limitations; and 

(6) priority will be given to those cadets who have not yet participated 

in a regional expedition
