HOW TO JOIN MY COMPANY'S SLACK CHANNEL!

Hi everyone,

Now that cadet training has been cancelled until 31 Aug 2020, we will be scheduling a few activities for you to participate in.  These are completely optional, but we hope many of you will join in the fun.  It will be a great way to connect with your friends and do some cadet related activities.  One of the easiest ways to stay informed is to join your Company's Slack Channel.  We posted information on how to join at the end of January, but am re-posting again in case you missed it!

You can download the app onto your mobile device in your respective app store or you can install it onto your computer.  This will be the primary means we will be using to communicate messages and reminders to everyone quickly.

Please note:  These domains ARE monitored. Please be respectful and professional as you all are. When you join be sure to correctly set your display name to your RANK then LAST NAME.  Click on ONE of the following links to join your respective Company.

Alpha Coy: Dunkirk - Hochwald - St Julien:  Click here

Bravo Coy: Walcheren - Passchendaele:  Click here

Headquarters Coy: Admin - Training - Supply:  Click here

When you click on the link, it will prompt you to enter your email address and create a password.  Ensure you remember which email (and password) you choose to associate with the Slack Channel.  You will need that info if you ever need to re-add Slack to a new device.  Once you create your account and have joined the correct Slack domain, you will notice there are several "Channels" or topics that you can join to get information relevant to that particular subject.  These channels allow us to provide specific information related to the subject, so that it doesn't clog up the "General" channel - which is more generic and for, well - general questions and discussion.

If you have any questions on how to use Slack, you can send a Direct Message to your Pl WO or 2IC.

I know that some of you have joined the Slack Domains, but there are still a good number of you who have not.  Please take the time over the next few days to join - you don't want to miss out on important information and this provides you a way to connect with other cadets in your platoon and with your cadet leaders!

See you online!
